In December 2011, theBologna Follow-up Group reviewed the official application package from Belarus prepared by the Ministry of Education.

The same month, Belarusian Independent Bologna Committee has submitted the Alternative report on the situation in Belarusian higher education prepared by independent experts. This report had formed the basis of the recommendations made by the Bologna Secretariat to the Ministerial Conference in Bucharest in April 2012.
